Greenrock Upgrades Entire Portfolio to LED

Greenrock is a third-generation family owned business that owns, operates, and provides real estate management services. Today Al Green’s son, Barry Green, continues the family tradition, serving as chairman. Greenrock manages some of the city’s most iconic rental properties in midtown and downtown Toronto. In 2017 Greenrock initiated a major sustainability objective which included the upgrade of it’s entire real estate portfolio’s lighting to LED. TGL was awarded the project which included, lighting design, lighting supply and installation of the entire project which consisted of 7 residential properties and 3 commercial buildings. Post Media Place (365 Bloor St. E.) which contained retail stores, commercial office tower, and residential was part owned by CapRiet.

H&R REIT (TSX: HR.UN) is one of Canada’s largest fully internalized real estate investment trusts with total assets of approximately $13.4 billion at March 31, 2020. H&R REIT has ownership interests in a North American portfolio of high-quality office, retail, industrial and residential properties comprising over 40 million square feet. TGL was awarded a 6-property project by their residential properties’ division.

Princess Upgrades Portfolio to LED

Princess Management co-owns (with H&R) and oversees a network of apartment properties in the Greater Toronto Area. In 2015 Princess Management engaged TGL to undertake the conversion of all their property to LED lighting. This required a full turnkey service of lighting design, lighting supply and installation.
